  1. You should check out the other side of Canada. If you haven’t been yet, stay at Le Saint Sulpice Hotel (www.lesaintsulpice.com). This is probably my favorite luxury hotel in Montreal. It’s in a renovated historic building in the Old Port and has a rooftop terrace that is great for relaxing and enjoying the city in the summer.
It pretty much has everything you would need on a trip to the city. It’s executive suites were spacious and comfortable, and it was nice to have the spa as an option when I had some free time between business meetings or when I wasn’t out running around Old Montreal.

    • Thank you for that! You are absolutely right, I should check it out. From what I see on their site it is a very nice hotel. Funny how one can live in a country and never fully explore it. I have never been to Montreal or the East Coast for that matter. I love historic architecture so these accommodations would be prime. I do intend to head that way in the near future and will now most likely end up at Le Saint Sulpice Hotel!

Tell me, what is one thing I must absolutely do on my visit to Montreal?

      • It depends on what you like… I like the little ethnic neighborhoods and the french area. I would go find those…and eat there. (There is also a great place for brunch on Peel and Maisonneuve.. I think that’s where it is.)
